A bigger life purpose

There is truth to the saying; we live for a greater purpose. I know that my blog posts are focused on my dreams and the challenges in reaching them. But this one is different. I know there is a bigger purpose for me and my dreams. I want to make a difference to the world. For a while there I never really thought how or if this could happen. But what I know now is, not to focus on all the questions but to focus on just knowing that there is something bigger intended for me.

When I watch someone grow and realise I have helped this person follow their dreams, it touches a spark inside me. I can feel my inner self glowing. It feels pure.
Do you ever wake up at night and know that you have to do something, anything to keep that pure feeling alive? Sometimes I cannot sleep until I have written down my thoughts, my most inner thoughts and feelings. It’s incredible how writing soothes me. And it amazes me how my emotions and thoughts are similar to someone else’s current life circumstances at this very moment. Two people in the world, living completely different lives, experiencing the same rollercoaster of emotions as they venture through their life changes. It is incredible to know that I don’t need to experience the same challenges to provide light at the end of the tunnel. What am I saying?

I want to make a difference in your life. I want to know about you, my reader. I want to hear your dreams and be there for you each step of the way. Because it is challenging, that is what a life change does, it challenges you in every way possible. But throughout your journey you will feel a spark ignite your soul. This is the pressings of your true desires. Make them known to you. No more secrets. No more hiding behind fear. It is time for you to shine. And shine bright.

  1. Thanks for sharing this. I was just doing some blogging about life purpose and passion, and I found this when I started looking around to see what other people were saying. It’s great you’re connecting with so many people from your writing and dancing. Here’s what I wrote about life purpose:http://wp.me/p22Vnn-9e

  2. Very well written , i loved your topic .
The truth is sometimes our purposes become so hard to achieve , that we must reignite the feelings we had in the beginning that made us
follow our certain dreams . It is amazing how you said you can’t sleep at night without writing , I once had that , i have written many essays i have also written a movie script . writing is really about passion . unfortunately i dont know what happened to my passion for writing , it seems like words are so hard to find . i miss writing , i miss the feeling of inspiration ,i miss the satisfaction of finishing an essay or the joy of writing your imagination down on a paper and finding out that writing is even more beautiful then imagining . Today i stand because writing helped me through lots of times , and i wasn’t as appreciative to my writings as i should have .

    • Thank you Kate for sharing your honesty. Don’t be disheartened, your passion for writing will soon return when you least expect it. One day you will be just have the desire arise within your soul and you will know that you need to quickly grab a pen and paper and write. I have always found when my passion begins to fade, to take a break and focus on something else for the time being. I wish you the best of luck in your future goals. Don’t feel guilty about the past, stand tall for your future.
