Music and me

When it comes to any type of dream chasing, you are putting your heart on the line and in most cases in a very public way. Β The brilliance of dream chasing is, there are many ways to achieve your dream. And sometimes we all need that little boost to remind us that we really can achieve our goals. We really are on the right path and we have already made progress.

Songs that have lines of boosting confidence in however it relates to your circumstances are the ones you need to listen to. What I love about music is, it doesn’t always matter what the artist interpretation of what the song is about, it is how you interpret it. It is how the music touches your soul.

My favourite is: Fly by Nicki Minaj

I came to win, to fight, to conquer, to thrive
I came to win, to survive, to prosper, to rise
To fly, to fly

What is your confidence building, dream reminding song/lyric?

  1. You are so right and I really needed to read this this morning as I begin another day of making my dreams a reality. I also find the music (and other media) we listen to during “dream chasing” time is critical. You are on point: It isn’t the artist or their interpretation it’s how it resonates with us! I have many dream songs for different areas of my life (love, career, etc) but one I listen to is “Closer to my Dreams” by Goapele and “Started from the Bottom” by Drake..

    • Thank you sending through your thoughts. I love that what resonates with me also is in line with others who read my posts. It can be hard to find music that is uplifting and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your favourites. Melanie
